BHO Cleaner

Introduction

BHO Cleaner is a security tool designed to remove unwanted browser helper objects that can hijack a user's computer, invade the user's privacy, or even worse, steal his/her identity. Installing BHO Cleaner will protect the user's computer. It will detect existing, unwanted BHO and protect and alert the user to any new attempts to add BHO.

What is BHO

BHOs (Browser Help Objects) are software that put a toolbar on Internet Explorer or otherwise integrates other software into it. Many (Acrobat Reader, Google Toolbar) are desirable. However, spyware companies also install BHOs on your computer. These can be difficult to remove. BHO Cleaner lists the BHOs that are currently installed. You can then remove those you don't want to keep.

How to use BHO Cleaner

1. Select BHO that you want to uninstall.
2. Click "Uninstall Selected BHO" button to erase the BHO.
